• Electricity is Extra and Based on Consumption - The Dominican Republic is a developing country and it has challenges in regard to cost effective electricity distribution. Therefore, to encourage renters to conserve electricity during their stay, they will be responsible for electricity charges during their stay. Also, this allows us to offer lower rates since we do not have to include more $$$ per night to take electricity consumption into consideration
• We will verify the electricity meter readings before check-in and after check-out to determine your electricity usage. You will then be charged for actual usage. It is very simple - you pay for what you consume. We read the meter at check in and read again prior to check out. The meter can be self-monitored daily. The rate is USD $0.35 per kw/h.
• Normal consumption is USD $5-10/day. Above average consumption usually will not exceed USD $20/day. Ultimately this up to you and your consumption. You will be charged for your consumption which may exceed the amounts indicated above.
• We collect an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT. It is just a DEPOSIT, real consumption calculated at the end of your stay and deducted from the DEPOSIT PAID. Refund will be processed within 48 hours after check-out.
• RENTALS 30 DAYS OR LESS: USD $20 per night
• RENTALS MORE THAN 30 DAYS: USD $500 per booking. Every 30 days we will read the meter and collect payment for the consumption.

DISCOUNTS
• There is a 5% weekly discount or a 10% monthly discount - from the rental rate. We apply these discounts automatically after you book and prior to processing the payment.

    This was our first condo rental vacation experience and it was by far our favorite! We will book this again and can not wait to share this with our friends and family! We have had opportunities to travel to several international resorts but this one was the easiest/safest one to navigate. The ride from the airport was 20 minutes and the driver was knowledgeable/informative. The ease to buy food/drink literally steps outside our condo was perfect. The prices were very reasonable and not inflated just because it was a resort area.You could entertain any food whim. The condo actually had some upgrades(new grill, backsplash around stove,upgraded kitchen supplies/decor/towels) from the posted photos.We met several owners and they were all very friendly and showed us their condos. We had the next day check in and it was not a big deal with the instructions we had to work with. The electricity rate was only $35 for 8 days and we received the remaining deposit back at check out. We were pleasantly surprised that the walk from condo to beach was tops 4 minutes. We thought it may be longer from the site map and the walk ways were smooth and maintained well.The level of security was excellent. You could not access the resort from the street, beach or BAM store unless you showed resort identification.They had security at night inside the resort as well for sound control and the resort/pools/beach were always clean and very well maintained . The quality of restaurants was outstanding. We had options of sushi,BBQ,fresh seafood,hamburgers,pizza-all within easy walking distance and all eating places had outdoor dinning and most had great live music too! The beach was wonderful: maintained well for swimming, lots of options for excursions,safe to walk for miles, shopping and food/drink options in other resorts. All in all, this was a wonderful vacation for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it and will book again!

    We loved the appartement. It was much better equipped than we expected. Everything absolutly clean and very well maintained. The pool was great and the walk to the beach lovely as well as the the beach and beach bar!
