OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
• Electricity is Extra and Based on Consumption - The Dominican Republic is a developing country and it has challenges in regard to cost effective electricity distribution. Therefore, to encourage renters to conserve electricity during their stay, they will be responsible for electricity charges during their stay. Also, this allows us to offer lower rates since we do not have to include more $$$ per night to take electricity consumption into consideration
• We will verify the electricity meter readings before check-in and after check-out to determine your electricity usage. You will then be charged for actual usage. It is very simple - you pay for what you consume. We read the meter at check in and read again prior to check out. The meter can be self-monitored daily. The rate is USD $0.35 per kw/h.
• Normal consumption is USD $5-10/day. Above average consumption usually will not exceed USD $20/day. Ultimately this up to you and your consumption. You will be charged for your consumption which may exceed the amounts indicated above.
• We collect an ELECTRICITY DEPOSIT. It is just a DEPOSIT, real consumption calculated at the end of your stay and deducted from the DEPOSIT PAID. Refund will be processed within 48 hours after check-out.
• RENTALS 30 DAYS OR LESS: USD $20 per night
• RENTALS MORE THAN 30 DAYS: USD $500 per booking. Every 30 days we will read the meter and collect payment for the consumption.

DISCOUNTS
• There is a 5% weekly discount or a 10% monthly discount - from the rental rate. We apply these discounts automatically after you book and prior to processing the payment.

    The K301 condo in Playa Turquesa was clean, spacious and well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. The resort itself is very quiet, but we did have loud music noise every night from a club across the street. Luckily it stopped promptly at 11:30 each night, so it wasn't an all night disruption. There are several good restaurants within a very short walk. We highly recommend Huracan Cafe (just up the beach), Citrus, Wacamole and Dalias (on the street side of the resort). As a final note, despite all of the resent news surrounding tourists in Punta Cana, we felt extremely safe the entire time we were there, and neither of us fell ill in any way during our stay.

    The condo has a great location. Accessible to good restaurants, beachfront, mini markets. Car is not necessarry. Apt is furnished with basics, has all you need. Careful with electricity consumption, I paid $107 USD for four nights and only using A/C at night.

    The location is good, you can access many restaurants from Playa Turquesa. We enjoyed a bakery right across from the main gate called Delices Francais, the TOC bar on the beach at Playa Turquesa serves great beach food and frozen drinks and Citrus, a restaurant next to BAM is worth going to. We had the driver stop at the grocery store on the way in from the airport for breakfast and lunch supplies, as the little market on the property, BAM, will not be enough if you plan to make a lot of meals in the condo. There is another market around the corner from BAM as well that has a little more stock. The only negative is not about the unit itself, but the noise you can hear from the bars at night. We brought earplugs and ran the fan at night and that helped and it was March (spring break) so not sure if it is always that noisy. Book your excursions with the people on the beach - they will be happy to help. A man comes by selling fruit during the day on the beach and he has great pineapples, mango, bananas, etc. Everyone very friendly and they will take no for an answer. The condo shows a little wear but very clean. They provided beach towels as well. We bought our five gallon water bottles from BAM market, and they will deliver it to your condo.

    My husband and I spent a week at Playa Turquesa 3/13 thru 3/20/2019.
    We could not have been happier with the management company who were
    Attentive, welcoming and respectful of our vacation time. The condo was clean, well appointed with any thing you need for a comfortable stay.
    The location was excellent. Steps to your choice of pools, the
    Private beach multiple types of restaurants,markets, night clubs. All a safe
    Walking distance. They even have their own guarded entrance to Bam
    Supermarket which was well stocked for everyday needs.

    I truly want to give this 5+ stars but this was the only unit noted to NOT
    Have screens at all. Having travelled from a cold climate, we couldn’t wait
    To sleep with the ocean sound and cool evening breeze. We were forced
    To put on the air conditioner during nighttime. Windows were open all day.
    I did have multiple bite; my husband did not.
    Also, since we are early to bed people, there was loud, pulsating, music
    And singing, nightly till 11:30. If you retire after 11:30 or retire earlier and not bothered by noise this would be no problem.

    We truly would rent this unit again, only IF IT HAD SCREENS. When I asked
    Management about lack of screens they quickly responded that since the unit
    Is privately owned, they could not supply.

    We loved our stay at Playa Turquesa! Everything was perfect for our kids 1st time at a ocean. There was a bit of seaweed but they cleaned it up at all times of the day so it wasn't an issue at all. This is a very relaxing resort and the locals were great. We would definitely stay here again!

    This was a nice condo. If we were staying long term we would definitely stay here again. With 3 older kids with us, it did get expensive eating out, so an all inclusive resort would have been better this time. The management group was wonderful! They helped us to get our Wi-fi working, scheduled taxis to and from the airport (and even waited with us for the driver to get there so he knew exactly where to drop us off at). The covered balcony was wonderful to relax and watch the waves of the ocean. The grounds were very well kept. If you use a rental company, Go punta cana real estate is the company to use!

    The staff were extremely accomodating and helpful when we checked into the condo. The condo was clean and had a nice layout for a family or two couples. The location was great for walking to restaurants and the beach. No need to leave the property, except to play golf.
